Paraplanner – Financial Planning Role in Reading

About the role

This full‑time Paraplanner position is based in Reading and supports a growing financial planning practice. You will work closely with advisers and the wider support team to deliver high‑quality financial advice to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical research and analysis for advisers.
• Prepare suitability reports and recommendations.
• Build and maintain cashflow models.
• Assist with complex financial planning queries and calculations.
• Attend client meetings when required and document outcomes.
• Manage client requests such as withdrawals, contributions, and policy amendments.
• Process new business and support ongoing case management.
• Liaise professionally with clients, providers, and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or close to achieving it).
• Previous paraplanning experience in a financial planning environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and related products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
