Paraplanner – Financial Planning Specialist

About the role

Meraki Talent Limited is looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing team in Edinburgh. You will work closely with Financial Advisers, delivering high‑quality suitability reports and supporting the creation of tailored financial plans for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive, compliant suitability reports for clients.
• Research pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning solutions.
• Analyse existing client arrangements and recommend actions aligned with objectives.
• Collaborate with advisers to develop suitable financial planning strategies.
• Ensure all recommendations meet regulatory and internal standards.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Assist with technical queries and support complex cases.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry, legislative and regulatory developments.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Paraplanner within a financial planning or wealth management firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, tax planning and protection products.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality reports and conduct detailed analysis.
• Excellent written communication and analytical skills.
