Paraplanner – Financial Planning Specialist

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established chartered financial planning firm to expand its Paraplanning team. The successful candidate will support high‑net‑worth advisers by turning client information into clear, compliant financial recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Attend adviser debriefings and capture client instructions.
• Analyse client data and conduct research using financial planning tools.
• Prepare suitability reports, client‑specific illustrations and key‑features documentation.
• Research and evaluate investments, pensions and relevant products.
• Draft financial solutions that align with client goals and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date client files and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Prioritise workload while contributing to the wider Paraplanning team.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Paraplanning role.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Understanding of compliance procedures and risk management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with advisers.
