Paraplanner – Financial Planning Support

About the role

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Paraplanner to support Financial Advisers in delivering tailored financial planning solutions. The role involves preparing high‑quality suitability reports, conducting research and ensuring clients receive accurate, compliant advice.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed suitability reports and recommendation letters.
• Gather and analyse client information and maintain accurate records.
• Research financial products, solutions and obtain information from pension providers and third parties.
• Support Financial Advisers throughout the advice process.
• Stay up‑to‑date with regulatory and legislative changes.
• Collaborate with administrators and team members to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management environment.
• Experience writing suitability reports.
• Strong understanding of financial planning products and advice processes.
• DipPFS qualification (or working towards it) is desirable.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and organisational skills.
• Experience working in a regulated financial services environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
