Paraplanner – Financial Services (Cambridge)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Paraplanner to join a fast‑growing wealth management firm in Cambridge. The role involves supporting financial planners by preparing suitability reports, analysing client data, and ensuring compliance throughout the advice process.

Key responsibilities

• Draft suitability reports under guidance.
• Liaise with Financial Planners to gather accurate advice information.
• Interpret adviser meeting notes and prepare recommendations.
• Provide technical guidance to advisers to achieve good consumer outcomes.
• Conduct research and maintain compliance on all casework.
• Keep workflows and records up‑to‑date for timely reporting.
• Meet output targets for advice documentation.
• Communicate effectively with advisers, client support, and colleagues.
• Manage a personal caseload with accurate documentation.
• Gather and analyse policy data, produce illustrations and supporting documents.
• Assist with processing new business.

Required profile

• Experience in a Paraplanning role within Financial Services.
• Diploma in Financial Planning.
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent attention to detail.
