Paraplanner – Hybrid Working (Basingstoke)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a forward‑thinking wealth management practice in Basingstoke. You will work closely with senior Financial Planners, providing technical analysis and detailed suitability reports that underpin high‑quality client advice.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive suitability reports covering pensions, investments, protection and tax planning.
• Conduct technical research and analysis to support client recommendations.
• Assist with pre‑ and post‑meeting work for Financial Planners.
• Review existing client arrangements and identify planning opportunities.
• Liaise with providers and internal teams to ensure smooth case progression.
• Support ongoing client servicing, including annual reviews.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Paraplanner within a financial planning environment.
• Diploma qualified (Level 4) with progress towards Chartered status desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong report‑writing ability.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive, team‑focused attitude.
