Paraplanner – Hybrid Working (UK Financial Services)

About the role

We are partnering with a top‑50 UK financial services firm to recruit an experienced Paraplanner for its growing financial planning division in Cheltenham. The role works closely with partners and financial planners, delivering high‑quality technical support to high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients in a collaborative, forward‑thinking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed financial planning reports and recommendations across a wide range of advice areas.
• Collaborate with Financial Planners to develop bespoke solutions for new and existing clients.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of service.
• Liaise directly with high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Provide technical expertise to the wider team on new business and ongoing servicing.
• Produce research, analysis and client‑friendly documentation to support recommendations.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Paraplanning role.
• Diploma qualified (Level 4) minimum; progress towards Chartered status desirable.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning.
• Experience working with high‑net‑worth clients.
• Familiarity with industry research tools such as Voyant or Selectapension.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
