Paraplanner – Level 4 Qualified – £50k-£60k

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established boutique financial planning firm in Hertford to hire an experienced Paraplanner. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality technical support to advisers, helping to shape client strategies across pensions, investments and tax planning.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research to underpin client recommendations.
• Perform tax calculations for a variety of planning scenarios.
• Prepare fully compliant suitability reports, including complex cases beyond standard Bed & ISA and fund switches.
• Support advisers with pensions, investment and inheritance tax planning.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of client strategies.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma (essential).
• Proven paraplanning experience within financial services.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and tax planning.
• High ethical standards and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a close‑knit team.

Required skills

• Intelligent Office (essential).
• FE Analytics (essential).
• Genovo (preferred).

• Basic salary £50,000‑£60,000 per year, dependent on experience.
