Paraplanner – South Leeds (Up to £40,000 DOE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing independent financial planning firm in South Leeds. The successful candidate will work closely with financial advisers and the support team to deliver high-quality technical support throughout the advice process.

Key responsibilities

• Write detailed, compliant suitability reports covering pensions, investments and protection.
• Conduct technical research and analysis to support client recommendations.
• Prepare recommendation and review documentation.
• Liaise with advisers, providers and administrators to progress cases efficiently.
• Assist advisers with technical queries and planning strategies.
• Ensure all documentation meets FCA and internal compliance standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an IFA or financial planning environment.
• Strong experience writing suitability reports.
• Good technical understanding of pensions, investments and financial planning products.
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage workloads effectively.
• Relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
