Paraplanner – Up to £50k – Barnet

About the role

Our client is an award‑winning Independent Financial Advice firm based in Barnet, seeking a technically strong Paraplanner to support their growing team. You will work closely with experienced advisers, producing high‑quality suitability reports and contributing to a wide range of financial planning projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, compliant and well‑written suitability reports.
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
• Analyse client information and support the development of financial planning recommendations.
• Liaise with advisers, providers and clients as required.
• Support the delivery of an exceptional client experience.
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in a Paraplanning or similar technical financial planning role.
• CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or CISI Level 4 Certificate in Paraplanning.
• Desire to progress towards Chartered Financial Planner or Certified Financial Planner status, with full study support.
• Excellent report‑writing and technical research abilities.
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Positive, proactive attitude and a collaborative team mindset.
