Paraplanner – Wealth Management (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Diploma‑qualified Paraplanner to join our growing wealth management team in Meriden. Working closely with experienced Financial Planners, you will help deliver high‑quality, compliant financial planning solutions while enjoying a hybrid working pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed suitability reports and recommendation letters for clients.
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning.
• Produce cash‑flow models and support long‑term financial planning strategies.
• Prepare annual review documentation and updated recommendations.
• Analyse existing client arrangements and propose suitable solutions.
• Obtain and review illustrations and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate and compliant client records.
• Collaborate with Financial Planners, administrators and compliance colleagues to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) – currently studying acceptable.
• Previous experience as a Paraplanner within financial planning or wealth management.
• Proven ability to produce suitability reports and carry out technical research.
• Strong understanding of pensions, investments and personal taxation.
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively.
• Genuine interest in developing technical knowledge further.
