Parcel Delivery Driver

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Parcel Delivery Driver on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, working 30 hours per week across afternoons and early evenings. You will be part of a multi‑drop team delivering parcels to customers in Sidcup and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver parcels to customers between 13:30 and 20:30, including Saturdays and Sundays as per rota.
• Prepare the delivery van and organise the daily workload.
• Use route‑planning technology to ensure each parcel reaches the right address on time.
• Maintain a professional and friendly presence as an ambassador for Royal Mail.

Required profile

• Upbeat, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Organised, punctual and proactive.
• Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• Comfortable interacting with customers.
• Willing to work afternoons and early evenings, including weekends.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
