Parcel Delivery Driver (Part‑time Fixed‑term)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Parcel Delivery Driver on a part‑time, fixed‑term basis in Portsmouth. You will work evenings and weekends, delivering parcels to customers and representing the brand with a friendly, reliable service.

Key responsibilities

• Load and organise parcels each morning using route‑planning tools.
• Deliver parcels across the assigned area between 14:30 and 21:00, including scheduled Sunday shifts.
• Interact with customers, providing a positive experience and handling queries.
• Maintain the delivery van, ensuring it is clean, safe and road‑worthy.
• Accurately record deliveries and any issues using company systems.

Required profile

• Upbeat, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Organised, punctual and proactive.
• Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as per the rota.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.

Required skills

• Valid UK manual driving licence.
