Parking and Site Assistant – New Forest

About the role

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of Forestry England for a part‑time Parking and Site Assistant in the New Forest. You will help visitors enjoy the forest responsibly while supporting the conservation work that protects its unique habitats.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure paid car parks operate smoothly and safely.
• Deliver a welcoming, professional customer‑service experience to visitors.
• Engage with visitors and promote responsible enjoyment of the forest.
• Support compliance within paid parking areas and protect sensitive habitats.
• Perform general site duties such as tidying, litter picking and basic maintenance during quieter periods.

Required profile

• Enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for forests, wildlife and conservation.
• Available to work 3‑4 days per week, including weekends, between 9 am‑3 pm.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk and perform light manual tasks.
