Part 145 Trainer

About the role

We are expanding our training function at our Bournemouth maintenance facility and are seeking an experienced Part 145 Trainer to deliver, maintain and develop training material for our engineering teams. The role offers significant responsibility, the chance to influence training strategy and the freedom to create new courses across a range of aviation subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver compliant training both online and in‑person at locations worldwide.
• Develop and deliver continuation, EWIS, FTS and Human Factors training.
• Assess training needs and design suitable courses to meet business requirements.
• Create and author training material and supporting documentation.
• Support the training department during internal and external audits.
• Drive continuous improvement of training delivery and processes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation relevant to technical training.
• Undertake any additional training required to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Qualification in adult learning or proven experience designing and delivering training.
• Previous experience in a Part‑147, Part‑145 or Part‑21 environment, or equivalent teaching experience at A‑level/HNC level or above.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent planning, organisational and adaptability skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.

• FTS (Fuel Transfer System) training capability.
• Human Factors training expertise.
• Continuation & Recurrent Training delivery.
