Part-Qualified Management Accountant

About the role

We are recruiting a Part‑Qualified Management Accountant on a 4‑month temporary contract for a fast‑growing logistics and distribution business. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the finance team in delivering accurate financial information and maintaining robust controls.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts
• Support accruals, pre‑payments and journal postings
• Carry out variance analysis and provide commentary
• Help with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts
• Support cash‑flow reporting and analysis
• Partner with operational teams to improve financial understanding
• Contribute to finance process improvements

Required profile

• Part‑qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE
• Previous experience in management accounting or a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and proactive attitude
