Part Qualified Trainee Paraplanner

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with experience in Financial Services who wants to progress into paraplanning. You will work alongside experienced advisers and senior paraplanners, receiving strong support and exposure to the full financial planning process.

Key responsibilities

• Support advisers and senior paraplanners with day‑to‑day client cases.
• Gather, review and analyse client information to help prepare financial recommendations.
• Liaise with clients, providers and third parties to obtain policy information and resolve queries.
• Conduct product and technical research using industry tools.
• Assist in preparing suitability reports and recommendation letters within a regulated environment.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, compliant and of a high standard.
• Stay up‑to‑date with legislation, regulation and technical developments in financial services.
• Support the maintenance of internal systems, processes and procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience within financial services, ideally in IFA administration or financial‑planning support.
• Genuine ambition to build a long‑term career in paraplanning.
• Diploma in financial planning or actively working towards Level 4 qualifications.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication with high standards of grammar and spelling.
• Ability to interpret and accurately present complex information.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
