Part-Time Bookkeeper – Flexible Hours

About the role

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our small, friendly team at Freya Accounts Ltd. The position is part‑time, office‑based in the centre of Oakley Village, and supports a growing client base across South East England. You will provide bookkeeping services to a variety of clients, handling invoices, reconciliations and payroll.

Key responsibilities

• Enter sales and purchase invoices accurately
• Perform bank reconciliations for multiple client accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Process payroll and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) payments
• Liaise directly with clients, delivering a professional and friendly service

Required profile

• Previous bookkeeping experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good understanding of VAT and payroll/CIS
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Comfortable working in an office with a friendly dog
