Part-Time Credit Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team on a part‑time basis (approximately 25 hours per week). You will work with a diverse customer base across multiple sites, helping to maintain healthy cash flow while delivering excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and ensure timely payment of outstanding balances.
• Contact customers by telephone, email and written correspondence regarding overdue invoices.
• Set up new customer accounts and carry out credit assessments.
• Process credit‑card payments accurately.
• Produce reports highlighting outstanding account queries.
• Liaise with operational teams to resolve customer account issues.
• Issue duplicate invoices and support customer enquiries.
• Assist with month‑end finance activities.

Required profile

• Previous credit control experience.
• Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone.
• Organised, proactive and customer‑focused.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Positive attitude and ability to manage workload effectively.
