Part Time Financial Service Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Financial Service Administrator to join a busy financial planning team in Hemel Hempstead. You will provide essential administrative support across pensions, investments, protection and ISAs, ensuring a smooth client journey.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative assistance to Financial Advisers and Paraplanners.
• Process new business applications for pensions, investments, protection and ISAs.
• Prepare client review packs, meeting documentation and suitability reports.
• Liaise with clients, providers and third parties to obtain information and progress cases.
• Maintain accurate client records in the CRM system and manage advisers’ diaries.
• Handle client enquiries via telephone and email professionally.
• Process withdrawals, fund switches, top‑ups and other servicing requests.
• Prepare valuation reports and portfolio information in line with FCA regulations.

Required profile

• Previous administration experience, preferably within financial planning or financial services.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Professional communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with IRESS XPlan or similar investment platforms (beneficial but not essential).
