Part-Time Gardener

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Part-Time Gardener to maintain a residential estate in South East London. The role runs on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8 am to 4 pm, with flexibility to adjust to weather conditions. You will work on-site, caring for a variety of plants and keeping the grounds tidy.

Key responsibilities

• Plant care: dig, seed, water, and propagate flowers, trees and shrubs.
• General maintenance: weed, mow lawns, trim hedges and rake leaves.
• Pest and soil management: monitor plant health and safely apply organic or chemical insecticides, herbicides and fertilizers.
• Equipment upkeep: operate and maintain landscaping machinery such as mowers, trimmers and shears.

Required profile

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to garden upkeep.
• Reliability for a fixed two‑day weekly schedule.

Required skills

• Experience operating landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, shears).
• Knowledge of basic horticultural practices and safe pesticide/fertiliser use.
