Part time KS2 Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 6) teacher to work part‑time at a welcoming junior school in Southwark. The position starts in September and runs three days a week (Wednesday to Friday), offering a supportive environment focused on inclusive education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 6 pupils.
• Support pupils in their preparation for SATs assessments.
• Create a positive, stimulating classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to maintain high teaching standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching Upper KS2.
• Experience supporting pupils through SATs preparation.
• Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to high‑quality teaching and a proactive, positive attitude.
