About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join an outstanding primary school in Islington. This part‑time position provides one‑to‑one support for a high‑needs pupil, helping them engage with classroom activities and achieve their potential.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 assistance to a high‑needs student, adapting tasks and resources as required.
- Support learning across the classroom, stepping in to aid other pupils when needed.
- Collaborate closely with class teachers and the SEN team to plan and deliver tailored interventions.
Required profile
- Prior experience working with children who have special educational needs (SEN) is essential.
- Compassionate, patient and committed to helping children succeed.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
