Part-Time Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Part‑Time Management Accountant to join a leading not‑for‑profit organisation at its head office near Woodford and Loughton. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will provide financial insight and support across the business on a reduced‑hours basis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts and conduct financial analysis.
• Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts.
• Provide cash‑flow forecasts and month‑end reporting.
• Support year‑end processes, VAT returns and day‑to‑day accounting tasks.
• Communicate financial insights to non‑finance colleagues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in management accounting and financial analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Proactive, adaptable and strong team‑working attitude.
• Excellent communication skills for building relationships across the organisation.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.

What we offer

• Annualised salary equivalent to £40,000‑£44,000 (full‑time equivalent).
• Reduced working week of approximately 28 hours across 4‑5 days.
