Part-time Reception Teacher (Job Share) – 2.5 days/week

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Camden on a 2.5‑day‑per‑week job‑share basis from September to December 2026. This fixed‑term position offers the chance to work within a well‑established Early Years team that values curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging EYFS lessons aligned to the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- Provide daily phonics instruction using the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds programme.
- Create stimulating indoor and outdoor learning experiences.
- Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records.
- Promote positive behaviour and foster strong parental engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the job‑share partner and wider EYFS team.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within EYFS or Reception.
- Strong understanding of child development and early learning.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.
