Part-Time Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a personable Receptionist to join a highly regarded business operating within the arts, culture, and luxury collectibles sector. As the first point of contact, you will create a welcoming, professional, and discreet front‑of‑house experience that reflects the prestige of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients, visitors, and guests in a warm and professional manner, both in person and over the phone.
• Manage incoming calls, directing enquiries efficiently and taking accurate messages when required.
• Respond to general email and front desk enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Welcome visitors and offer refreshments, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
• Coordinate deliveries and courier collections, handling valuable items with care.
• Provide administrative support, including filing, photocopying, and preparing meeting rooms.
• Maintain visitor logs and ensure security procedures are followed at all times.
• Manage service appointment bookings and scheduling requirements.
• Process payments for shop sales and assist with coordination of internal and external events.
• Organise meeting room and viewing bookings, ensuring rooms are prepared and ready for use.

Required profile

• Previous front‑of‑house or reception experience.
• Experience within a luxury environment such as hospitality, private members’ clubs, boutique hotels, auction houses, art galleries, or luxury retail.
