Part Time Support Worker

About the role

Join Consensus as a Part‑time Support Worker at Stanley Park Road, Wallington. You will help people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs live as independently as possible while enjoying a supportive community environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living tasks such as housework, cooking and personal care.
• Support participation in leisure, fitness and community activities, including swimming and outings.
• Facilitate communication, adapting methods to individual needs.
• Encourage skill development and pursuit of personal goals and hobbies.
• Promote a safe, respectful and inclusive atmosphere.

Required profile

• Values aligned with person‑centred care and empowerment.
• Open to candidates new to care or with experience as a mental health support worker, care worker, healthcare assistant or similar.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts covering 37.5 hours per week.
• Ability to complete a free DBS check.
