Part-Time Theology Teacher (Oxted)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Theology Teacher to join a respected school in Oxted from September 2026. The position is part‑time, offering a flexible timetable and the possibility of a permanent or contract‑based arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Theology and Religious Studies lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Facilitate classroom discussion, debate and critical inquiry into religious, ethical and philosophical topics.
• Support students in developing confidence, critical thinking and personal growth.
• Collaborate with the department to maintain high‑quality teaching standards.

Required profile

• Passionate about Theology and Religious Studies.
• Qualified teacher (experienced or strong early‑career teacher) with a commitment to student achievement.
• Enthusiastic about fostering an inclusive, discussion‑rich learning environment.
