About the role
This part‑time position is for a Year 2 class in a highly regarded primary school in Burnley. The role involves teaching two days per week, offering a supportive environment for both early‑career teachers and experienced practitioners.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
- Collaborate with senior staff and school leaders to support pupil progress.
- Assess, monitor and report on student achievement.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Passion for teaching and learning in Key Stage 1.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Commitment to achieving the best outcomes for every pupil.
