Part‑Qualified Management Accountant (CIMA)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑qualified CIMA Management Accountant to join a proactive and lively finance team. Reporting to the Head of Management Accounting, you will work from our modern office in Bury with flexible hybrid working after probation and on‑site parking.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with year‑end preparation, ensuring all management accounting records and submissions are accurate.
• Prepare and submit a detailed monthly Management Accounts pack, including profit & loss, balance sheet, cash‑flow analysis, aged debt and spend.
• Attend monthly review meetings with finance and non‑finance managers.
• Support annual budget setting by collating data from department heads and producing initial budget reports.
• Calculate VAT and submit returns.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects such as fixed‑asset updates and capital‑spend tracking.

Required profile

• CIMA part‑qualified status.
• Strong Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work across a range of management accounting functions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
