Parts Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Parts Advisor to join a growing engineering group in Dunsfold. In this full‑time position you will support engineers and workshop teams by ensuring the right parts are available at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage parts ordering, sourcing and stock levels to keep workshops running efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and guarantee parts availability.
• Collaborate with engineers, suppliers and customers to resolve parts queries.
• Prepare quotations, pricing information and required documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency and cost control.
• Produce reports for planning, forecasting and operational performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a parts control, stock management or similar role.
• Strong communication and supplier‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Comfortable using systems, databases or ERP platforms.
