Parts Advisor

About the role

The Parts Advisor will manage incoming and outgoing parts enquiries, drive sales on the trade counter and support the branch in meeting its KPI targets. You will act as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of service while maintaining accurate stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls professionally and promote part sales.
• Purchase parts from suppliers to secure the best prices and maintain stock.
• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to achieve monthly sales, margin and contribution goals.
• Meet head‑office and local SLA/KPI targets as part of a team.
• Perform stock cleanses and manage internal transfers to hit stock targets.
• Provide excellent customer service to local and national clients, building repeat business.
• Handle cash and payment systems safely and accurately.
• Work with van drivers to ensure timely deliveries.

Required profile

• Proven knowledge of parts and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Strong telephone etiquette and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work safely and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Reliability and confidence in handling cash transactions.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
