Parts Advisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join a busy automotive team in Ferndown. The role involves supporting workshop colleagues, managing parts stock and orders, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Process parts orders and invoices.
• Allocate and issue parts for workshop jobs.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and manage replenishment.
• Support technicians with parts requirements and deliver parts to customers when needed.
• Liaise with internal departments and handle telephone and face‑to‑face enquiries.
• Conduct trade and retail parts sales and complete associated administration.
• Use parts and stock management systems for daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous parts experience, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Confident in dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Organised, methodical and reliable with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office
• ADP/Kerridge (or similar parts management system)

What we offer

• Salary £31,000‑£35,000 depending on experience.
• Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 8:00‑17:00.
• 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
