Parts Advisor

About the role
The Professional Services team at SF Recruitment is seeking a hands‑on Parts Advisor on a permanent basis. You will manage parts inventory and support the sales and customer departments with operational requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage company‑owned parts stock, ensuring accurate control, rotation and housekeeping.
- Maintain precise stock records and follow established processes.
- Supply parts to customers and support internal operations.
- Promote parts and related products to drive sales and account growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Provide accurate reporting on stock levels, parts usage and customer activity.
- Ensure health, safety and fire safety procedures are followed at all times.
Required profile
- Experience in parts handling and stock control, preferably within truck, trailer, plant, automotive or engineering sectors.
- Background in a customer‑facing environment.
- Proficiency in managing inventory systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize workload effectively.
