Parts Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead a busy automotive parts department for a reputable retailer in the South West. You will be responsible for driving performance across multiple sites, ensuring high customer satisfaction and supporting the business’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the parts team to achieve high performance.
• Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor KPIs, analyse trends and take corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and support staff development.
• Maintain high standards of customer service in face‑to‑face and telephone interactions.
• Ensure efficient department operations and optimal resource utilisation.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business success.
• Adapt proactively to changing business needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in automotive parts management, preferably as a Parts Manager or Supervisor.
• Strong organisational abilities with experience in reporting and data analysis.
• Exceptional leadership qualities with an approachable manner.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive attitude focused on delivering outstanding customer service.
