Parts Supervisor – Commercial Vehicle Dealership

About the role

Our client, a reputable commercial vehicle dealership in Worthing, is looking for an experienced Parts Supervisor to lead a busy Parts Department. You will be responsible for ensuring parts are available when needed, minimising vehicle downtime and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the Parts team to achieve high service standards.
• Oversee daily department operations, including parts sourcing, ordering and stock control.
• Maintain accurate stock receipts, returns and documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage obsolescence and ensure parts availability.
• Support warranty, recovery and manufacturer processes in line with brand standards.
• Collaborate with Workshop, Service and Sales departments.
• Identify process improvements, cost‑saving opportunities and drive profitability.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Parts Advisor in a commercial or motor dealership.
• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of parts ordering, stock control and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Kerridge / Keyloop inventory management system.
• Mercedes‑Benz parts and warranty systems.
• Good IT proficiency.
