Parts Supervisor – Retail & Stock Management

About the role

The Parts Supervisor will support the daily operation of a busy parts department and showroom, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth sales and stock processes. Reporting to the Parts & Retail Manager, you will act as the escalation point in their absence and help maintain high standards across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate tasks and support the parts department and showroom staff.
• Provide in‑person and remote customer service, handling enquiries, quotations and orders.
• Maintain showroom presentation, pricing and stock levels.
• Process sales, generate invoices and manage POS transactions (cash and card).
• Coordinate stock movement between depots, conduct regular stock checks and support stock control.
• Assist with deliveries, loading, unloading and packing of goods.
• Promote products, special offers and upsell to maximise sales.
• Build relationships with internal teams, suppliers and customers.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a retail or showroom environment.
• Sales experience with a target‑driven mindset.
• Knowledge of horticultural or agricultural machinery/products.
• Experience in stock control or parts departments.
• Strong organisational ability in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills.
