Part‑Time Assistant Store Manager

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Assistant Store Manager to join our customer‑focused retail business in Petersfield. The role offers a balanced schedule with no late shifts, no Sundays and half‑day Saturdays on a rotational basis. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email and face‑to‑face.
• Follow up on new enquiries and convert opportunities into customers.
• Explain services and recommend suitable solutions to individuals and local businesses.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, businesses and supporting organisations.
• Support the Store Manager in driving sales and maximising revenue.
• Maintain high standards of site presentation and customer service.

Required profile

• Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with customers and businesses.
• Customer‑focused with a positive, professional attitude.
• Commercially aware and able to work towards sales targets.
• Organised, able to prioritise a varied workload.
• Reliable, hands‑on and proactive.

Required skills

• IT literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
