Part‑Time Bookkeeper (Winchester)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable part‑time Bookkeeper to join a well‑established, family‑run organisation in Winchester. The role offers flexible hours and the possibility of hybrid working once you are settled, supporting a healthy work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Process transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records using Xero.
• Support payroll activities and keep employee records up to date.
• Reconcile bank accounts and manage supplier and customer ledger updates.
• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle bookkeeping.
• Strong proficiency with Xero accounting software.
• Knowledge of payroll processing, bank reconciliation, and AR/AP.
• Ability to work independently two days a week (ideally Tuesday and Wednesday) with flexible split‑day options.
• Organised, trustworthy and comfortable in a small team environment.
