Part‑time Cleaner & Grounds Maintenance Caretaker

About the role

Join the Estates Management Team at SNG as a part‑time Cleaner and Caretaker. Working 20 hours across three days a week, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents of the Ashley Court scheme and occasional nearby sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform internal cleaning of communal areas and stairwells.
• Carry out general grounds maintenance, including play areas and external pathways.
• Maintain tidy bin and storage areas.
• Respond to tenant enquiries and direct them to the appropriate Housing Officer.
• Occasionally travel to other local sites, requiring a valid driving licence.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning or caretaking role serving the public.
• Strong customer‑care attitude.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and collaborate with colleagues.
• Willingness to undertake any identified training.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard cleaning equipment and tools.
