About the role
This part‑time position supports the governance of four local schools by ensuring governor meetings run smoothly. You will work mainly in the evenings during term time, handling around 12 meetings per year.
Key responsibilities
- Organise and support governor meetings
- Prepare meeting agendas
- Take clear, concise minutes
- Follow up on actions and maintain accurate records
- Facilitate communication between governors and school leaders
Required profile
- Well‑organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with good written skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Comfortable using basic IT systems
