Part‑time Commis Chef – Bognor Regis

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis Chef to join our pub kitchen in Bognor Regis. You will help bring our menu to life, learning new prepping skills and supporting the kitchen team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist in creating dishes for the pub menu.
• Support the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen, ensuring hot food is delivered to specification.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team in a busy, high‑energy setting.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow kitchen procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar chef role or as a kitchen porter, or a willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of, or eagerness to learn, kitchen areas and procedures.
• Passion for food and delivering great meals consistently.
• Ability to work well within a team.
