About the role

Join Marston's award‑winning pub team as a Commis Chef, working part‑time on a reliable hours contract. You’ll help bring the pub menu to life, learning new prep techniques and supporting the kitchen daily.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking menu items.
• Support the kitchen team with day‑to‑day operations in a fast‑paced environment.
• Maintain food quality and temperature specifications for every dish.
• Learn and follow kitchen procedures and health‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar chef or kitchen porter role, or a willingness to learn.
• Passion for food and delivering consistent, high‑quality meals.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Commitment to a part‑time schedule (approximately 12 hrs per week).
