Part‑time Continence Nurse Advisor (2 days/week)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to work part‑time (2 days per week) as a Continence Nurse Advisor across the East Central Belt of Scotland. You will deliver training on continence and disposable hygiene products to NHS and private healthcare professionals in hospitals, community settings and care homes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide classroom and ward‑based training on a range of continence products and cleaning solutions.
• Support clinical teams following contract wins with NHS Trusts and Health Boards.
• Deliver implementation programmes, refresher updates and product demonstrations.
• Attend continence exhibitions and collaborate closely with sales colleagues to ensure account success.
• Maintain regular contact with key stakeholders, including continence nurse specialists and district nurses.

Required profile

• Registered with the NMC (Adult) – RN, RGN, RM, RSCN or RNLD.
• Significant experience in adult continence care.
• Previous experience as a Nurse Advisor or in community, district or complex care nursing is advantageous.
• Ability to travel across Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian and West Lothian.

• Clinical knowledge of continence management and related products.
• Strong presentation and training delivery abilities.
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
