Part‑time Conveyancer (Remote)

About the role

This is a part‑time, fully remote position for a qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer or experienced conveyancer. You will provide holiday and absence cover for a well‑established conveyancing team, ensuring continuity of service for residential property transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential conveyancing matters on a cover basis, including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Review titles, contracts, search results and supporting documentation.
• Draft and check legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds and mortgage paperwork.
• Communicate with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors to keep transactions progressing.
• Oversee all stages of the conveyancing process, from exchange through completion and post‑completion.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or significant experience in residential conveyancing.
• Ability to work independently on a flexible, part‑time basis.
• Strong understanding of UK conveyancing procedures and property law.
• Professional membership (e.g., Law Society or CLC) is advantageous but not essential.

Required skills

• Experience using Land Registry systems.
• Proficiency with property search platforms.
