Part‑Time Credit Controller – £32k Pro‑Rata + Bonus

About the role

We are a fast‑growing nationwide accountancy practice seeking an experienced Credit Controller on a flexible part‑time basis. You will own the credit management process, ensuring timely collection of fees and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full credit control cycle for the practice.
• Contact companies and individuals to recover overdue direct debits, fees and missed payments.
• Track incoming payments, identify late accounts and keep accurate records.
• Communicate professionally with clients to resolve payment issues.
• Provide regular reports on outstanding balances, risks and recovery progress.
• Suggest and implement improvements to streamline credit control workflows.
• Collaborate with the accounts team to ensure accurate billing and reconciliation.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Confident, professional approach to chasing overdue payments.
• Excellent organisational and record‑keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience within an accountancy practice or professional services is preferred.
