Part‑time Customer Service Advisor at Corinium Museum

About the role

Join the Front of House team at Corinium Museum on a part‑time basis, welcoming visitors and providing comprehensive tourist information. You will be the first point of contact, helping to create a friendly and informative experience for museum guests and local tourists.

Key responsibilities

• Greet visitors warmly and professionally at the welcome desk.
• Handle ticket sales, admissions, memberships, retail items and tourism product transactions accurately.
• Provide visitor and tourist information, including travel and transport details.
• Respond to telephone, email and general enquiries.
• Maintain a clean, organised welcome desk and shop area.
• Support marketing and promotion activities for the museum.
• Assist with administrative tasks, stock checks and other operational duties.

Required profile

• Experience working with the public.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure and solve problems.
• Friendly, approachable and positive attitude.
• Flexibility to support operational needs.

Required skills

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
