Part‑time Dog Groomer – Stanmer (South East England)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Dog Groomer to join our One Garden Brighton parlour in Stanmer. Working Saturdays from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, you will provide professional grooming for dogs of all sizes and coat types while supporting a team of qualified groomers and trainee students.

Key responsibilities

• Perform up to four full grooming sessions per day, including bathing, trimming, and styling.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and fully equipped grooming studio.
• Interact with dog owners, explain services, and ensure animal welfare throughout the process.
• Assist trainee students on set days and share best‑practice techniques.
• Record service details using the studio’s IT system.

Required profile

• City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in dog grooming.
• Minimum two years’ hands‑on grooming experience.
• Professional, hardworking, creative, organised and confident working both independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills across a broad age range and a flexible approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in dog grooming techniques and use of grooming equipment.
• Basic IT competence for service recording.
