Part‑time ESOL Lecturer (Permanent)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate ESOL lecturer to join our vibrant learning community in Chippenham. You will deliver engaging English language lessons to adult learners from diverse cultural backgrounds, helping them build confidence and achieve personal and professional goals.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and assess learners across a range of ESOL programmes and levels.
• Design and deliver inclusive lessons that develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
• Support learners from varied linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
• Create a positive learning environment that encourages progression.
• Prepare learners for further study, employment and everyday communication in English.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, professionalism and learner wellbeing.
• Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Relevant ESOL teaching qualification or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work part‑time (approximately 18.5 hours per week) on a permanent basis.
• Commitment to inclusive, learner‑centred teaching.
