Part‑Time Finance Administrator – 15 hrs/week

About the role

This permanent, part‑time position supports a busy finance shared‑services team in Partington. Working 15 hours per week, preferably on Mondays and Wednesdays, you will help ensure accurate invoicing, credit‑note processing and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices and ensure compliance with legal and HMRC tax requirements.
• Process credit notes according to company procedures.
• Check and process self‑bills, resolving queries with regional contacts.
• Upload invoices to customer portals within agreed timescales.
• Monitor finance/admin inboxes and respond to queries promptly.
• Produce reports using SAP and Excel.
• Update systems with customer detail changes.
• Provide ad‑hoc administrative support to the wider finance team.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising at all levels.
• Strong team player able to build relationships quickly.
• Adaptable and open to new processes.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a busy finance environment.
• Good Excel proficiency; SAP experience is advantageous.
